Saudi Arabia begins distributing financial incentives to loyal forces on Yemen’s western coast

SANAA, Sept. 19 (YPA) – The Saudi military command on Saturday began distributing financial incentives of 500 Saudi riyals per individual to members of Tareq Saleh’s armed factions on Yemen’s western coast to patch up and repair the military defeats.

According to informed sources, the field distribution was concentrated in the Khawr Umayrah and Kahbub areas. The payouts follow recent military developments across the western coast, extending from Al-Khawkhah and Hays in Hodeida to Mocha, Al-Wazi’iyah, Mawza’, and Thubab overlooking the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

The amounts provided have generated widespread commentary among social media activists, who questioned the significance of the sum in light of ongoing operational challenges and control over key strategic locations including Bab al-Mandab and Mocha.
