GAZA, Sept. 18 (YPA) – The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) announced on Friday that 98 percent of schools in the Gaza Strip have been destroyed or damaged as the repercussions of the Israeli aggression on the Strip continue.
The organization said in a post on the “X” platform, that children in Gaza are returning to learning after three years of being out of formal schooling, despite the widespread damage inflicted on schools and educational facilities.
UNICEF explained that it is supporting more than 330,000 children in the Gaza Strip to return to their classrooms in an effort to resume the educational process.
