Sanaa military official denounces Saudi claims of threat to Mecca

SANAA, Sept. 15 (YPA) – A military official in Sanaa strongly condemned on Tuesday the fabrication, deception and misinformation being spread by the Saudi regime through its claims that Yemen poses a threat to the holy city of Mecca.

The official Saba News Agency quoted the military official as strongly denying any threat from Yemen targeting Mecca or any other Islamic holy sites.

The official stressed that promoting such false reports is aimed at tarnishing Yemen’s image and creating a sense of sympathy across the Muslim world, describing it as an old tactic previously used by the Saudi enemy.
