Saudi Arabia acknowledges temporary energy operation halt following widespread airstrikes on southern region
RIYADH, Sept. 08 (YPA) -Saudi Arabia acknowledged on Tuesday that it was targeted in a major air attack by Sanaa forces.
Brigadier General Turki al-Malki, spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition, issued a statement confirming that the strikes targeted the southern regions of Jizan, Najran, and Asir.
Al-Malki specified that the attacks aimed at economic facilities, referring to oil refineries and airports where multiple explosions were reported.
While the coalition statement did not detail the full extent of the structural damage or the total number of missiles and drones deployed, it reported over 75 casualties, signaling a severe blow to the region within the last 24 hours.
