Sanaa forces announce large-scale military operation targeting Saudi Arabia

SANAA, Sept. 08 (YPA) – Sanaa forces announced on Tuesday that they executed a wide-ranging, targeted military operation deep inside Saudi territory, utilizing dozens of ballistic missiles and drones.

According to an official statement, the operation targeted several strategic locations, including Aramco facilities in Abha, Najran, and Jizan, alongside the Economic City and Khamis Mushait Airbase.

The statement noted that the strikes achieved precise and direct hits, causing significant damage to the targeted facilities. It added that the operation was carried out in response to the ongoing military campaign against Yemen, framing the action as a direct counter to broader regional escalation.

Holding Saudi Arabia responsible for the latest round of tension, Sanaa forces warned that any further aggression against Yemen and its population would be met with a firm response, threatening broader and more forceful strikes in the future.

The statement concluded by emphasizing that military operations inside Saudi territory and against military mobilizations will persist until the current campaign and blockade are brought to an end.
