Trump demands NATO pay for weapons Biden gave away, declaring US ammunition shortages

WASHINGTON, Sept. 03 (YPA) – U.S. President Donald Trump addressed concerns over ammunition supplies in the United States, calling on NATO countries to pay for munitions that former President Joe Biden provided to them free of charge.

In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump said: “For the lousy traitors who refuse to accurately report on our military operations in Iran, we have almost unlimited amounts of medium- to high-quality ammunition.”

“We have far more ammunition than we could ever use in this war, or in any other war that could improbably break out (which is highly unlikely!),” he added.

Trump said the United States is also producing ammunition at unprecedented levels, adding that Washington is stockpiling it and preparing for any emergency while keeping supplies for itself rather than selling them to others. He said arms sales to allies would soon resume.

Trump claimed that “the Biden administration gave Ukraine far more ammunition than we have used in Iran.”

He concluded: “Hundreds of billions of dollars were given away for free to Ukraine and NATO during the Biden era, which Europe would have paid for had it been asked. But we will be asking for that money, albeit a little late!”
