Israeli occupation forces carry out attacks on southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, Aug. 31 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces continued their military escalation in southern Lebanon on Monday, carrying out artillery shelling on several towns.

Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported that Israeli artillery fire targeted the town of Houla and also struck the towns of Mansouri and Beit al-Siyad.

Since March 2, Israeli occupation forces have escalated their attacks on Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, cities, and civilian property.

The attacks have left hundreds dead, thousands injured, and around 1.5 million people displaced, most of whom have not registered at shelters.
