Israeli occupation tightens siege on Palestinian homes in Qusra

NABLUS, Aug. 29 (YPA) – A tightened Israeli military siege on three Palestinian homes in the Ras Al-Ain area of Qusra town, south of Nablus, entered its 21st consecutive day on Saturday, as Israeli occupation forces and settler groups seek to displace the families and seize their land.

Palestinian sources reported that Israeli forces have intensified their activities in the town, setting up a military tent directly outside the home of resident Louay Abu Rida and installing iron gates at the entrances to the area to further tighten the siege, restrict the families’ movement and limit access to their daily necessities.

Meanwhile, settlers, under the protection of occupation forces, set up new mobile homes at the town’s eastern entrance in an apparent move to expand settlement outposts.

Residents of Qusra said the measures are part of a systematic policy of forced displacement aimed at imposing a new reality by force.

They stressed their steadfastness and determination to remain on their land despite the escalating siege and settlement plans.
