Palestinian Red Crescent jointly wins 2026 First Aid World Cup

DUBAI, Aug. 26 (YPA) – The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) secured first place jointly with the Red Cross Society of China at the 2026 First Aid World Cup, hosted in Dubai under the auspices of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).

The Palestinian emergency medical services team achieved top ranking among 162 teams representing 85 national societies from five regions worldwide. Participants competed across three core tracks: first aid and resuscitation innovation, emergency response scenario simulations, and public awareness campaigns.

The award recognizes the team’s efficiency and speed in managing critical cases, field simulations, and implementing innovative solutions, underscoring the high professional expertise and readiness of the Society’s crews on international humanitarian stages.
