Iran asserts it will not allow US “economic terrorism” to undermine its stability

TEHRAN, Aug. 22 (YPA) – Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref stated that the Iranian government will not permit what he described as US “economic terrorism” to target the country’s economic stability and the livelihoods of its people.

Aref remarked that the experience of the Islamic Revolution has demonstrated that economic pressure is incapable of altering the will of the Iranian people, asserting that such measures instead yield counterproductive results.
