SANAA, Aug. 22 (YPA) – At a time when attention is focused on Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to France, Sanaa has offered a notable political reading of the trip, delivering direct messages to Riyadh amid growing regional pressure and challenges over the repercussions of Saudi policies toward Yemen.
In this context, Ansarullah Political Bureau member Hazam al-Asad on Saturday affirmed that he knew the reasons behind Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to France, issuing political warnings to the Saudi leadership.
In a post on X, al-Asad said that “Bin Salman left Riyadh for Paris in disguise and, upon arrival, began complaining and appealing for help and assistance.”
He added that “such pleas and tears will not bring him security; security cannot be built by depriving others of security, and a blockade cannot remain without consequences for those who impose it. The aggressor is more unjust.”
Al-Asad further clarified: “The enemy’s options have narrowed and its means have been exhausted, while, by God’s grace, the determination and ability of our people to secure their rights and break the blockade are becoming increasingly firm and resilient.”
He concluded with a statement hinting at possible developments, saying: “The coming days are pregnant with surprises.”
The statement leaves an open question: What surprises is Sanaa referring to, and could the coming phase bring a new shift in the confrontation with Riyadh?
