Civilian killed in Saudi-backed shelling in Dhalea

DHALEA, Aug. 22 (YPA) – A civilian was killed on Saturday after Saudi-backed gunmen shelled the main road in Damt district of Dhale province, according to local police.

Police said 41-year-old Nasser Mohsen Nasser Al-Omari died from shrapnel wounds after a mortar shell fired by the gunmen landed in the area.

Authorities said forensic and investigative teams were dispatched to document the incident and complete the legal investigation.

Residents condemned the attack, describing it as part of continued attacks targeting civilians.
