Sanaa forces target Aramco, sensitive target in Saudi Arabia

SANAA, Aug. 20 (YPA) – Sanaa forces announced on Thursday evening that they launched air attacks targeting a Saudi Aramco facility and a sensitive site inside Saudi Arabia.

In an official statement, military spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Sarie said that the armed forces carried out two military operations using two drones. The first operation targeted a “sensitive site of the Saudi enemy at Najran Airport,” while the second struck “Saudi Aramco in Najran.”

Brigadier General Sarie stated that both operations successfully hit their targets, noting that the strikes were conducted “in response to the Saudi enemy’s violation of Saada governorate’s airspace with reconnaissance aircraft.”

Sarie reiterated the commitment of the armed forces to continue defending Yemeni sovereignty against any airspace violations and to enforce this deterrence equation.
