Zionist settlers set fire to home in Khirbet al-Fara, south of Hebron

HEBRON, Aug. 20 (YPA) – Zionist armed settlers early today set fire to a Palestinian home in Khirbet al-Fara, south of Hebron.

According to the Palestinians sources, settlers from the colony of Otniel, built on Palestinian-owned land south of Hebron, attacked the home of resident Bassam al-Nawaj’a in Khirbet al-Fara, west of Yatta, and set it on fire while his family of five was asleep inside.

Mohammad al-Nawaj’a, a member of the family, told WAFA that five masked and armed colonists attacked the three-room, 70-square-meter home in the early hours of the morning.

He said one of the attackers approached a window and smashed it, threatened the residents, and then threw a highly flammable substance inside the house, causing it to catch fire and burn down completely.

Al-Nawaj’a said the family members were asleep inside the house at the time and managed to escape the flames.
