SANAA, Oct. 07 (YPA) – Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement leader Sayyed Abdulmalek Badr al-Din al-Houthi said Wednesday that Saudi Arabia and Israeli occupation cooperated and coordinated against Yemen during operations in support of the Palestinian people, providing details of their joint activities.
In a speech marking the third anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, Sayyed al-Houthi affirmed that since the de-escalation with Saudi Arabia in 2022, Sanaa had used the period to support the Palestinian people.
He claimed that Saudi Arabia, during the de-escalation period, used the time to capitalize on U.S., Israeli and Western positions toward Yemen. He clarified Riyadh sought cooperation with Israel from the outset of Sanaa’s operations in support of the Palestinians and continued interception operations throughout the campaign, including beyond Saudi airspace and at sea.
Leader Al-Houthi further asserted that the coordinates acknowledged by what he described as Saudi espionage cells matched those of airstrikes carried out by U.S. and Israeli occupation forces.
He also revealed that Saudi Arabia hosted Israeli occupation officers to conduct reconnaissance operations over Saada province, while U.S. aircraft transported them from Cyprus to Saudi military camps near the border with Yemen.
According to the movement’s leader, Saudi Arabia allowed Israeli occupation to conduct reconnaissance over the provinces of Saada, Hajjah and Amran, and continued cooperating with them until the Israeli personnel returned to Cyprus with their equipment.
