For 12th consecutive day, Zionist settlers continue siege of homes south of Nablus

NABLUS, Aug. 20 (YPA) – Israeli settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, today continued for the 12th consecutive day to besiege several homes in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, in an attempt to seize them and impose a fait accompli in the area.

According to Qusra Municipal Council head Abdul Azim Wadi, Israeli occupation forces and a group of settlers continued to besiege three homes in the Ras al-Ain area of the town, preventing the families from entering or leaving them. One of the homes has been taken over and turned into a military barracks, while the area has been declared a closed military zone.

Wadi said that the families are suffering from shortages of food and some medications due to the occupation authorities’ prevention of supplies from reaching the homes and their inability to obtain essential necessities.
