Israeli occupation forces carry out fresh attacks on southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, Aug. 18 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces continued attacks across southern Lebanon on Monday, carrying out airstrikes, artillery shelling, ground incursion and demolition operation in several areas.

According to Lebanese sources, Israeli artillery shelling targeted the outskirts of Rashaya al-Fukhar, while Israeli troops set fire to a Lebanese home on the outskirts of Zawtar al-Sharqiya.

They added that the occupation forces detonated the public water reservoir in Al- Mansouri, which supplies the town with water and carried out a major explosion in the same town.

In addition, the occupation forces bulldozed lands in the southern border village of al-Mansouri, while carrying out demolition operation near Birkat Al-Naqqar in the outskirts of Shebaa.
