QUDS, Aug. 17 (YPA) – Israeli occupation’s far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir called for intensified airstrikes on the Gaza Strip and for killing 30 to 40 Palestinians every night without exception.
In a statement, he also renewed his calls for the reestablishment of Israeli settlements in Gaza and the displacement of its residents.
Ben-Gvir, leader of the far-right Jewish Power party, made the remarks during the October 8 podcast, excerpts of which were published by The Jerusalem Post on Monday.
He said the Israeli occupation forces should not limit its strikes to people deemed an immediate threat, but should instead expand its air campaign across Gaza. He also described some Palestinians as not human and said those undeserving of life should be killed.
Ben-Gvir further called for the resettlement of Gaza, saying he viewed the entire territory as belonging to Israel. He urged the occupation forces to expand settlements beyond the former Gush Katif bloc and to encourage Gaza residents to leave as much as possible.
According to the newspaper, Ben-Gvir said his forces should kill 30 to 40 Gazans every night and that those he labels terrorists should be killed one by one.
