Saudi forces bomb residential areas in Yemen’s Saada
SAADA, Aug. 17 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia has continued its attacks on Yemen’s border areas, targeting residential areas in Saada province in northern Yemen.
A security source in the province said on Monday Saudi forces shelled residential villages in the Al-Shawariq area of the border district of Razeh.
On Sunday, Saudi artillery shelling also targeted villages, roads and farmland in the border districts of Shada, Razeh and Ghamer.
Earlier, the Bani Sayyah area in Razeh district came under heavy Saudi rocket and artillery fire, causing material damage to citizens’ farms, alongside artillery shelling of the border district of Dhahir of the province.
Yemen’s border areas in Saada have faced near-daily Saudi rocket and artillery attacks, causing dozens of casualties and extensive damage to homes and civilian property.
