SANAA, Aug. 17 (YPA) – Yemen’s Sanaa-based armed forces announced on Monday that they had set fire to a Saudi military vessel and sunk several boats off the coast of Mocha in western Yemen.
In a military statement, Sanaa forces said they targeted a Saudi military landing ship along with four accompanying military boats in the Red Sea off the coast of Mocha.
The statement said the attack was carried out using several ballistic missiles, affirming that the strikes were accurate and direct.
It noted that the operation resulted in the vessel being completely engulfed in flames, while several boats were sunk and others caught fire.
The statement added that the armed forces were closely monitoring Saudi military movements and buildups and would target them both on land and at sea.
It also reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining the blockade-for-blockade equation and targeting Saudi military buildups wherever they are located.
