GAZA, Aug. 17 (YPA) – Several Palestinians were injured overnight and early Monday as Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of strikes across the Gaza Strip, violating the ceasefire agreement in place since last October, Palestinian sources reported.
According to Palestinian sources, a child was wounded when Israeli military vehicles opened fire on displaced persons’ tents in the Bir 19 area of Mawasi Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
In eastern Gaza City, emergency services reported multiple civilian casualties following Israeli artillery shelling near the Al-Sanafour intersection in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood.

The strike coincided with heavy tank and machine-gun fire from Israeli forces stationed nearby.
Concurrently, Israeli warplanes launched two airstrikes on eastern Gaza City, synchronized with heavy machine-gun fire from low-flying attack helicopters in the same vicinity.
Further south, Israeli artillery units bombed multiple areas south of Khan Younis.
“Israel” continues to violate the ceasefire agreement in effect since last October, resulting in widespread casualties and injuries.
