Palestinian forced to demolish own home in Silwan, Quds (Jerusalem)

QUDS, Aug. 16 (YPA) – Israeli occupation authorities early Sunday forced a Palestinian citizen to demolish his home in the Silwan neighborhood in occupied Quds (Jerusalem).

The Jerusalem Governorate said Mamoun Salem Shuyukhi was forced to demolish his home in the al-Ain al-Fawqa area of Silwan on the grounds that it lacked an Israeli-issued building permit.

The approximately 70-square-meter home housed Shuyukhi, his wife and their three children. It was built about two years ago.
