IRGC shoots down US MQ-9 drone over Hormozgan

TEHRAN, Aug. 14 (YPA) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Friday that it had destroyed a US MQ-9 drone over Hormozgan province in southern Iran.

In a statement, the IRGC said the drone was intercepted and destroyed by an advanced air-defense system operating as part of Iran’s integrated air-defense network.
