Iran FM: US makes another major miscalculation over Strait of Hormuz

TEHRAN, Aug. 13 (YPA) – Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Thursday that the United States has repeatedly miscalculated due to shortcomings in its intelligence assessments.

In a post on X, Araghchi said the war against Iran was a prime example, adding that Washington has now made an even greater miscalculation regarding the Strait of Hormuz.

“Worse than fake news is false intelligence. Be careful,” he said, stressing that “Allah’s power is greater than any power on Earth.”
