Sanaa refers 25 suspects to prosecution over corruption cases exceeding $963,000

SANAA, Aug. 10 (YPA) – The Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption (SNACC) in Sanaa, chaired by Deputy Chairman Redan Al-Mutawakel, approved on Monday the referral of 25 suspects to the prosecution over involvement in corruption cases.

The total financial damage involved in the cases—comprising embezzlement of public funds, bribery, and harm to state interests—amounted to $900,000 and 33.9 million Yemeni Rials.
