DAMASCUS, Aug. 08 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces advanced, on Saturday, into the Al-Mantarah Dam area in the northwestern Quneitra countryside, near the village of Al-Samdaniyah Al-Gharbiyah.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that Israeli forces were seen at the dam, coinciding with the presence of a UNDOF patrol at a nearby distance. No clashes were recorded during the incursion.
UNDOF also observed damage caused by the incursion in Al-Samdaniyah Al-Gharbiyah.
In a related context, the occupation forces cut off the road between Al-Samdaniyah Al-Sharqiyah and the town of Khan Arnabeh by erecting an earthen barrier, in addition to deployment of a bulldozer, a tank, and more than 50 soldiers, hindering movement in the area.
