Abdulsalam: Lifting the siege on Yemen is the nearest path for Saudi security
SANAA, July 31 (YPA) – Mohammed Abdulsalam, head of Sanaa’s negotiating delegation, said the Saudi regime has not learned from lessons and experiences, warning that continued “aggression, blockade, and deliberate delays” will not bring it security or stability.
In a post on X account, Abdulsalam stressed the nearest path for the Saudi regime to achieve security is to close the file of aggression and fully lift the siege on Yemen.

“The Saudi regime must respect the rights of neighbors, not escape from the problem by creating bigger problems. The Saudi regime must bear full responsibility for the aggression and intensification of the siege it caused,” Abdulsalam said.
Commenting on the mass rallies held across Yemen despite heavy rainfall, he said the million-strong turnout today affirms that they are proceeding in solidifying the equation of siege for siege until their legitimate rights are achieved.
The chief negotiator also warned against any further escalation, saying “Any entanglement of the Saudi regime in comprehensive escalation will be disastrous for it.”
He reiterated that continued blockade and escalation would only further complicate the situation, stressing that resolving the crisis requires lifting the blockade and closing the file of war.
