Sanaa warns investors of risks to Saudi investment climate amid escalation

SANAA, July 27 (YPA) – Yemen’s Sanaa-based authorities have expanded its pressure campaign against Riyadh through a political escalation carrying direct economic messages, warning that continued conflict and further escalation could affect the future of investment in Saudi Arabia.

The move reflects a shift in the confrontation from the battlefield to the economic arena, with warnings that prolonged tensions could make the Saudi investment environment increasingly vulnerable in the coming period.

Deputy Foreign Minister Abdulwahid Abu Ras said investors should recognize that Saudi regime-held areas a safe investment environment in the medium and long term.

In remarks carried by the official Saba news agency, Abu Ras argued that despite extensive Saudi government intervention to maintain market stability, such efforts would only produce temporary results.

He further clarified that the Saudi economy is suffering from the consequences of its policies, adding that those seeking a stable and prosperous economic environment should avoid committing crimes against others.
