Zionist forces demolish three-story Palestinian home near Jenin

 JENIN, July 27 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces demolished a three-story house in the Araba Station area, southwest of Jenin, on Monday, amid a heavy deployment of troops. This action is part of a series of measures targeting the area in recent times.

 According to Palestinian sources, occupation forces stormed the Araba Station area with three military bulldozers, supported by a large contingent of infantry and military vehicles.

 They then imposed a security cordon around the area, closing its entrances, before proceeding to demolish the home of Jihad Musa, a three-story residential building.

 Israeli occupation authorities had notified the homeowner several months prior of the demolition order, citing illegal construction. This prompted him to pursue legal avenues, filing objections and complaints with the relevant authorities in an attempt to halt the demolition. However, these efforts proved fruitless, and the occupation forces forcibly carried out the demolition.

 The demolition comes amidst escalating Israeli measures in the Araba Station area, which has recently witnessed land confiscation, demolition, and targeting of Palestinian property.

 The Araba bus station holds strategic importance due to its location at the southern entrance to the town and on the road connecting several population centers in the Jenin Governorate, making it a vital economic and commercial hub.

 In recent days, Israeli forces have demolished several sheds, commercial structures, and agricultural facilities in the vicinity of the Araba bus station, causing damage to residents and business owners and raising fears of continued targeting of Palestinian property in the area.
