BEIRUT, July 27 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army continued its violations of the ceasefire agreement, on Monday, targeting the outskirts of the towns of Tallousa and Markaba in the Marjeyoun district of southern Lebanon with artillery and bombings.
The National News Agency reported that the shelling led to fires breaking out in the targeted areas, while the occupation carried out bombings inside residential neighborhoods in the town of Markaba, accompanied by the sound of explosions and rising plumes of smoke.
The occupation has been escalating its aggression against Lebanon since March 2, targeting towns and civilians, resulting in hundreds of martyrs, thousands of wounded, and the displacement of about 1.5 million Lebanese.
Despite the signing of a memorandum of understanding on June 18 between the United States and Iran that included a ceasefire in Lebanon, Israeli violations continue daily.
