Widespread Zionist settler attacks, Israeli military raids reported across occupied West Bank

WEST BANK, July 26 (YPA) – The occupied West Bank witnessed widespread violence on Sunday as Zionist settlers launched attacks in multiple governorates alongside military raids that included home searches, arrests, gunfire, road blockades, and the targeting of civilian vehicles and an ambulance.

In the northern West Bank, Israeli occupation forces raided several towns and villages across Jenin and Tulkarm, searching homes and detaining a number of Palestinians, including former prisoners. Concurrently, Zionist settlers raided the village of Qaffin.

In Qalqilya and Salfit, Zionist settlers under Israeli military protection gathered at the entrances of towns and villages, throwing stones at Palestinian vehicles. Attackers intercepted an ambulance and forced it to turn back, while Israeli forces continued their raids in the area.

In the Nablus Governorate, Zionist settlers attacked Palestinian homes and set fire to a mosque in the town of Qusra. They also attempted to arson a house in Beit Furik before local residents intervened. In tandem, Israeli occupation forces conducted search-and-detention operations across various areas, arresting several young men, including former prisoners.

Similar incidents were reported across Ramallah, Jericho, Tubas, Bethlehem, and Hebron. Zionist settlers hurled stones at Palestinian vehicles and blocked roads, while Israeli forces raided homes, detained individuals, fired live ammunition and sound bombs during their incursions, and restricted civilian movement in several localities.

Additionally, Zionist settlers blocked major intercity routes across different West Bank governorates amid ongoing Israeli military operations.
