GAZA, July 25 (YPA) – Six Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Saturday as Israeli occupation forces continued violating the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip through airstrikes, demolitions, and gunfire, while Israeli warplanes carried out attacks across multiple areas of the enclave.
According to Shehab News Agency, Khaled Zaki Al-Barim was killed in an occupation airstrike targeting the vicinity of Street 5 in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, just one day after celebrating his success in the national secondary school examinations.
The Ministry of Interior and National Security also announced the killing of Brig. Gen. Abdul Nasser Mohammed Al-Maqadma, 54, Director of Police for North Gaza Governorate, in an Israeli airstrike that targeted him in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood northwest of Gaza City.
In Gaza City, Suhail Ramadan Haji succumbed to wounds sustained in an earlier occupation strike on the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood in the eastern part of the city.
In central Gaza, one Palestinian was killed and several others were injured when another airstrike hit the entrance of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah.
In Khan Younis, local sources reported that a man and a woman were killed and several others wounded after an Israeli drone struck the roof of a residential building in the Al-Buraq neighborhood.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, the death toll resulting from Israeli ceasefire violations since the agreement entered into force has risen to 1,191 people, with 3,853 others injured.
