IRGC: Iranian forces destroy 11 US aircraft, 17 drones during 15 days

TEHRAN, July 25 (YPA) – The spokesman for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Saturday that Iranian forces destroyed 11 U.S. fighter jets and helicopters on the ground during 15 days of fighting while they were stationed at American military bases across the region.

The spokesperson said Iranian missile strikes also destroyed 17 U.S. unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) used for reconnaissance and operational missions, including eight brand-new drones that had not yet been deployed.

According to the statement, the destroyed aircraft included one F-15 fighter jet inside its hangar, one P-8 maritime patrol aircraft, one C-17 military transport aircraft, and eight aerial refueling aircraft.
