WASHINGTON, July 23 (YPA) – The United States has reinforced its military presence in the Middle East by deploying additional troops, medical personnel, military equipment, and advanced weaponry to provide US President Donald Trump with broader options regarding Iran, “The Wall Street Journal” reported, citing US officials.
According to the sources, the deployment includes stationing special operations forces across several regional locations, reinforcing fighter jet squadrons, and raising the readiness level of strategic bombers stationed at US and British bases to enable rapid military action if required.
The report noted that the military reinforcement extends beyond Iran, potentially offering Washington expanded operational options against Ansarallah in Yemen amid ongoing regional security tensions.
The UA administration aims to elevate military readiness and maintain open options, allowing the President to make swift decisions in the event of further regional escalation or necessary military intervention.
