In Video: Yemeni travelers capture moment bus overturns in Hadramout floodwaters

HADRAMOUT, July 16 (YPA) – Yemen’s travelers documented on Thursday the moment a large passenger bus overturned after the driver attempted to cross a rainwater flood stream along the desert road in the Al-Abr area of Hadramout province, eastern Yemen.

Video footage circulating online showed the bus attempting to pass through the path of the floodwaters before it suddenly veered off course and completely overturned due to the force of the flowing water and the driver losing control of the vehicle.

The travelers who recorded the incident described the driver’s action as a dangerous gamble and reckless behavior that put the lives and safety of passengers on board at risk amid the severe weather conditions.

So far, no official information or reports have been issued by local or security authorities regarding the number of injuries or casualties resulting from the incident.
