TEHRAN, July 16 (YPA) – The Iranian Army announced on Thursday that it had targeted US military facilities and equipment in Kuwait and Bahrain as part of the tenth phase of Operation “Thunderbolt” using Arash drones in coordination with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
In a statement, the Army said it had targeted the radar systems, Patriot defense systems, and fuel tanks of the US terrorist army at the Ali al-Salem base in Kuwait.
The Patriot system has been responsible for the defense mission of this base, as well as for transport aircraft and advanced drones, including the MQ-9.
Also, in another wave of attacks, communication and radar systems, including Super Hawk radars and Patriot installations and systems of the US terrorist army located at the defense site of the Sheikh Isa base in Bahrain, were targeted by drone attacks, the Army said.
This base, which is also the location of US aircraft support units, has suffered serious damage in successful drone and missile attacks by the Army and the IRGC, according to the statement.
There has been no official response so far from the United States, Kuwait, or Bahrain regarding the Iranian attacks .
