Meteorology forecasts rainfall across several Yemeni provinces

SANAA, July 10 (YPA) – The  National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted scattered thunderstorms with rainfall of varying intensity over parts of several governorates during the next 24 hours.

In its weather bulletin, the Center stated that rainfall of varying intensity, accompanied by thunder, is expected over the parts of Taiz, Ibb, Dhalea, Dhamar, Sanaa, Raymah, Mahwit, Hajjah, Amran, western Saada, and sections of the Tihama Plain.

It also forecasted scattered showers, over parts of the governorates of Al-Bayda, the highlands of Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, parts of the eastern coastline, and the Socotra Archipelago.

The Center alerted citizens in areas where rain is expected about flash floods in ravines and valleys, advising them to avoid being in or crossing these paths during and after rainfall.
