GAZA, July 09 (YPA) – Israeli forces continued their violations of the ceasefire agreement early Thursday, carrying out airstrikes and artillery shelling across several areas of the Gaza Strip.
According to Palestinian sources, Israeli artillery shelled eastern Gaza City while military vehicles stationed in the area opened fire.
Israeli quadcopter drones and military vehicles also fired heavily at the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City.
The attacks were accompanied by artillery shelling, and demolition operations in the eastern part of the city.
Palestinian sources also reported the occupation army expanded what it calls the “yellow zone” in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood amid heavy gunfire, besieging several families inside the area.
The sources added that Israeli tanks opened heavy fire northeast of the Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. Moreover, Israeli naval vessels also fired toward the coast of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Israeli shelling, gunfire, and demolition of buildings and infrastructure continued across different parts of the Gaza Strip despite the ceasefire agreement.
