GAZA, July 08 (YPA) – The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,110, with 173,599 people wounded, since the start of the genocidal war on October 7, 2023, the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said on Wednesday.
In its daily statistical report, the ministry said hospitals received eight bodies and 17 injured people over the past 24 hours.
The ministry added that since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 1,084 people have been killed by Israeli occupation fire, 3,491 have been injured, and 799 bodies have been recovered from previously inaccessible areas.
The ministry said many victims remain trapped beneath rubble or lying in the streets, adding that ambulance and civil defense crews are still unable to reach them.
