Iraq completes preparations for funeral procession of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei

BAGHDAD, July 06 (YPA) – Iraq’s Higher Committee for Funeral Arrangements declared on Monday that all preparations have been finalized for the funeral ceremonies of martyred leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei in the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala, confirming its readiness to carry out the official program.

In a statement, the committee said an official reception for Khamenei’s body will be held on Tuesday evening in Najaf, ahead of the funeral procession.

According to the committee, the official funeral will begin at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday in Najaf before proceeding to Karbala at 4:00 p.m., with organizers stating that all logistical and security arrangements have been completed.
