OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, July 06 (YPA) – The Israeli Air Force resumed its joint military exercises with its Greek counterpart on Monday after a long hiatus due to the wars waged by Tel Aviv in Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran.
Channel 12 reported, citing military sources, that Israeli aircraft appeared in footage released by the Greek Air Force refueling Greek F-16 fighter jets in mid-air over the Aegean Sea.
The channel described the resumption of the exercises as “not just an operational step, but a show of force against Turkey within the alliance that Israel is strengthening in the Eastern Mediterranean,” noting that it is part of a broader strategic plan in the region.
It added that the resumption of the exercises coincides with Turkey’s attempts to bolster its deterrent capabilities.
