Sanaa exposes hidden Riyadh plot to abort peace efforts, hinting at imminent decisive action

SANAA, July 02 (YPA) – Sanaa escalated its rhetoric against Saudi Arabia on Thursday, accusing Riyadh of evading its peace obligations and obstructing its entitlements by fueling divisions and instigating tribal, regional, and sectarian strife.

It emphasized that this policy of procrastination would not prevent it from extracting Yemen’s rights, whether through peace or the option of war.

In this context, Ali al-Qahoum, a member of Ansarallah’s Political Bureau, accused Riyadh of circumventing peace steps and igniting sedition through “exposed scenarios and plays” overseen by the Saudi Special Committee and executed by “agents and traitors.”

Al-Qahoum stressed that this evasion would not exempt Riyadh from its duties, hinting at a resort to more decisive options, as the objectives of “ending the war, lifting the blockade, and the withdrawal of foreign forces” remain non-negotiable principles in this “decisive” phase.

This political escalation coincides with an extensive, unprecedented official movement and armed popular mobilization in areas under the control of the Sanaa government, responding to the call of Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi for readiness to confront the Saudi-led coalition’s plots, executed by Saudi Arabia under American supervision.
