Gaza’s resistance security executes man accused of collaborating with Israeli enemy

GAZA, July 02 (YPA) – The Resistance Security in the Gaza Strip said on Wednesday it had executed a man convicted of collaborating with Israeli intelligence, accusing him of helping carry out assassinations targeting leaders of Palestinian resistance factions, including the late commander of Al-Qassam Brigades, Izz al-Din al-Haddad.

“After exhausting all revolutionary procedures, the Resistance Security carried out the execution of the collaborator (M.M.), who was convicted of maintaining ties with Zionist occupation intelligence and causing several massacres that led to the killing of many of our steadfast people during the war of extermination on the Gaza Strip, the Resistance Security in the Gaza Strip said a statement.

It alleged that he worked with Israeli intelligence and was responsible for facilitating “several massacres” during the war in the Gaza Strip. It also accused him of assisting in the assassinations of several resistance leaders, most recently Izz al-Din al-Haddad, chief of staff of Al-Qassam Brigades, also known as Abu Suhaib.

The statement said the execution was part of efforts to hold collaborators with Israel accountable, adding: “This is the fate of collaborators who work with the occupation and support its plans aimed at undermining our people’s steadfastness and unity.”

“These collaborators who have abandoned the national ranks represent no one but themselves and are in violation of the customs and traditions of Palestinian families and clans, which have a national role in preserving internal unity and confronting the plans of the occupation and its collaborators, ” the statement read.

It also called on anyone who had “chosen the path of the occupation” to return “to the national ranks” and surrender to the Resistance Security before “it is too late”, according to the statement.
