Gaza interim administration conducts intensive talks in Cyprus

CYPRUS, July 02 (YPA) – The National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG) held a series of working meetings in Cyprus with experts and advisers of Board of Peace, the Office of the High Representative for Gaza, and the Tony Blair Institute.

In a statement, the committee said that the meetings were highly productive and focused on the next stage of our efforts to relieve the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza.

Discussions concentrated on what can be done immediately, including initiatives and projects to ease conditions on the ground.

The committee reviewed plans for reconstruction, security, and governance, and finalized the institutional arrangements needed to ensure the transparency and accountability required by international donors.

The participants reaffirmed their commitment to the Comprehensive Plan and are prepared to take all the necessary steps, in coordination with the Board of Peace and the Office of the High Representative, in order for NCAG to assume its responsibilities once the right conditions are met.

These meetings built on the workshop held in Cairo last week 23-24 June 2026, and together are part of a broader process to ensure we have every tool necessary to serve the Palestinian people of Gaza.

Further steps will be set out and announced in due course.
