Israeli occupation army continues its aggression against Lebanon

BEIRUT, July 01 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army continued its aggression against Lebanese territory on Wednesday, despite talk of a framework agreement signed between Tel Aviv and Beirut.

The occupation forces launched an airstrike, coinciding with artillery shelling that targeted several areas in southern Lebanon.

On Tuesday evening, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the Israeli war on Lebanon since March 2nd had risen to 4,278 martyrs and 12,196 wounded.

The Lebanese arena continues to witness widespread debate regarding the framework agreement between Lebanon and Israel, amid fears and criticisms warning of the possibility of legitimizing the occupation’s presence in areas recently invaded, in addition to concerns about the forced displacement of residents and the relinquishment of prisoners’ rights.
