BEIRUT, June 29 (YPA) – Two reserve soldiers of the Israeli occupation soldiers were injured after an explosive device detonated near a field command post belonging to the deputy commander of the Israeli army’s commando brigade in the border town of Aita al-Shaab.
Hebrew-language outlets added that the targeted position housed several senior Israeli occupation’s officers, with some reports attributing the attack to Hezbollah.
The incident comes one day after clashes between Hezbollah fighters and the occupation forces in the town of Deir Siryan in southern Lebanon, which the occupation military said resulted in the death of an officer and the injury of a soldier.
Meanwhile, Israeli aggression in southern Lebanon continues, including airstrikes by fighter jets and drones, artillery shelling, helicopter bombings, and ground incursions accompanied by arson and the demolition of homes.
