Islah Party seeks to mix up cards by dispatching drones over ‘Al-Rayyan’ gathering in eastern Jawf

JAWF, June 27 (YPA) – A drone took off on Saturday from the Saudi-controlled “Al-Ruwaik” camp, overflying the “Al-Jawfa” camp in the Al-Rayyan region, eastern Jawf governorate.

The overflight followed the withdrawal of tribal groups from a gathering (Matrah) led by the so-called “Hamad Fadgham Al-Hazmi,” which aimed to block the road for commercial trucks belonging to the people of Sahar from Saada, amid widespread tribal divisions and rejection of such road-blocking practices.

Observers viewed the drone flight as a direct threat aimed at preventing the remaining tribesmen from withdrawing.

Meanwhile, accusing fingers were pointed at leaders of the Saudi-aligned Islah Party for attempting to “mix up the cards” and promote the narrative that the drone belonged to the Sanaa forces in an effort to incite the tribes against them.

This comes in the wake of counter-accusations by pro-Islah activists claiming that Fadgham’s movements were instigated by the Sanaa government to reach the “Al-Abr – Safer” road and seize control of Al-Wadi district.
