Yemen Scholars Association condemns US, Zionist desecration of Quran, calls for severing ties, comprehensive boycott

SANAA, Aug. 12 (YPA) – The Yemen Scholars Association has strongly condemned the repeated desecration of the Holy Quran and Islamic sanctities by US and Zionist entities, warning that such ongoing violations persist due to a lack of accountability and punishment.

In an official statement, the association called on Islamic nations to sever diplomatic relations with the United States and demand the prosecution of those responsible, specifically naming Zionist offender Jake Lang.

The statement asserted that those who desecrate the Quran forfeit their right to protection. It further urged Muslims and freedom-loving people worldwide to confront these violations by staging mass demonstrations and initiating a comprehensive economic boycott of American goods.

The association held several Arab and Islamic governments—specifically singling out the Saudi regime—complicit in these offenses due to their alignment and alliances with Washington.

Concluding its statement, the association called on the Yemeni public to lead demonstrations in defense of the Quran, coinciding with the celebrations commemorating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be up him).
