Zionist forces arrest several Palestinians during raids in West Bank, occupied Quds

WEST BANK, June 27 (YPA) –  Israeli occupation forces arrested several Palestinians during raids across the occupied West Bank and occupied Quds (Jerusalem) early on Saturday. The raids were accompanied by clashes, gunfire, and the use of stun grenades.

According to the Palestinian sources, Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by Zionist settlers, raided Al-Ras Mosque in the Al-Jaabari neighborhood of Hebron’s Old City assaulted those inside, prevented the dawn prayer from being held, and closed the mosque to worshippers.

They stormed the mosque, raised Israeli flags on its entrances, and played Hebrew songs through the mosque’s loudspeakers.

The occupation forces also raided a residential building in the Sanjar area of Dura, south of Hebron, and turned it into a military post.

In the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, clashes broke out in the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah. The occupation forces fired tear gas during the clashes. They also raided the village of Abu Falah and continued their raid on Al-Amari refugee camp in Al-Bireh.

In Tubas governorate, occupation forces fired stun grenades during an ongoing raid on the village of Tayasir, east of the city. They also searched several homes.

In occupied Quds (Jerusalem), Israeli occupation forces arrested two Palestinian children from the Al-Hara Al-Wusta neighborhood in Silwan.

They also raided several neighborhoods in Kafr Aqab and entered Qalandia refugee camp, north of Quds.
