Sayyed Al-Houthi: “We will not stand idly by in face of any Israeli presence in Somaliland”
SANAA, June 25 (YPA) – Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi affirmed the steadfastness of the Yemeni people’s stance in supporting the Palestinian cause and the causes of the Nation (Ummah).
In a speech aired this evening on the anniversary of Ashura (the 10th of Muharram), Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi stressed that the criminal practices committed by the United States and “Israel” against the Palestinian people and the peoples of the region expose the reality of the Zionist project and its danger to human societies.
Al-Houthi stated that the Yemeni people are proceeding on their liberationist and jihadist path, stemming from their faith identity and Quranic approach, emphasizing the adherence to the Palestinian cause as the central cause of the Nation, and that there will be no backing down from supporting and backing it.
In the same context, Sayyed Abdul-Malik congratulated the Islamic Republic of Iran on the great victory over the enemies of the Nation, considering that this achievement represents an important gain for the Axis of Jihad and Resistance in one of the most prominent rounds of regional confrontation.
Al-Houthi pointed to the continued coordination with the parties of the Axis of Resistance, affirming readiness to intervene and fulfill the duty in the event of any new military escalation in the region, particularly in the Gaza Strip.
Regarding developments in the Horn of Africa region, Sayyed Al-Houthi revealed close monitoring of “Israeli” movements in the region of Somaliland, warning of “Israeli” endeavors aimed at controlling the Gulf of Aden and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and strengthening influence in the Red Sea.
He called on the countries bordering the Red Sea to adopt a unified stance towards the activity of the Israeli occupation in the region, emphasizing that Yemen will not stand idly by in the face of any “Israeli” presence or positioning in Somaliland, and that it will initiate targeting it whenever it deems it necessary.
Sayyed Al-Houthi also called on the Islamic Nation to support Somalia in confronting the Israeli targeting, considering that those movements represent a violation of Somalia’s sovereignty and a direct threat to the security and stability of the region.
On the Yemeni issue, Sayyed Al-Houthi emphasized the rejection of the continuation of the American-Saudi aggression and blockade on Yemen, affirming that the movement to end these conditions will continue through various legitimate means until achieving freedom and independence and ensuring a decent life for the Yemeni people.
